This proposal was for the revitalization of a historic 19th century wine cellar. With hopes of being able to preserve the textures and materials of the original architecture, these mood boards function as a jumping off point for future iteration and development of the project. The existing winery facility had hopes to expand the current winery bar and restaurant to contain a speakeasy. The unused space was rumored to have had gatherings in a similar way in its early days. With such a rich history the project was carefully curated to highlight the old and enhance the new with small cost effective improvements.

This proposed conversion of an existing storage shed features unique and efficient spatial planning. The program for this space included living arrangements for a single user. The requirements were that the bed needed to be on the main level and that the client wanted a central bookcase feature.
